For the last several months, I've used the same build with only one skill changing every once in a while, unless the situation called for a specific build. The build used AP and the severgashgalrathfinalthrust combo. I added the Sunspear skills, Necrosis, and it surpasses my whole adrenaline combination easily. I felt I'd all my skills were useless compared to ONE skill. 90 armor ignoring damage as soon as the enemy has ONE condition, and I can do it every two seconds for only 5 energy. Because of this, I have made two builds built around this one skill, Necrosis. One is strength and one is tactics.

Strength:

Tactics:

[Isn't it funny how I use three necro skills and avoid necro attributes?]

I vanqd Barbarous Shore with the Tactics one. I had energy problems if I spammed too much, or the enemies wouldn't bunch up for me to use SoC. I've never used a strength build outside of farming before. >>; I don't even have a strength shield.

Anyway, I only posted this here for opinions and so that your advice could make these better or tell me which of these is better.

Note: My warrior has maxed Sunspear, and r5 Kurzicks.

EDIT: Just vanqd Dejaran Estate using the tactics build. My energy was a problem ONLY! directly after being rezzed. No other time. This build works well. Still haven't tested the other one as I have no strength shield.

Hmmm, Barbarous Slice mean no IAS. Maybe replace Quivering Blade with Crip Slash, and Barbarous Slice with another attack. Looks ok otherwise.

Barbarous Slice is shit, due to the aformentioned lack of IAS. Run an 8/9 spec Flail, you don't NEED 13 Tactics.

Btw... A Warrior build needs a REALLY, REALLY good reason not to run IAS.
33% IAS = 50% more swings - a damage increase of 50%, and increased adrenaline gain of 50%. You'd be a retard not to Flail/Frenzy.

Flail's 33% decreased speed in HM is horrible against kiters, no? Yeah, I could change Quiver for Crippling, but then I wouldn't have my daze... that I don't use often anyway... hm...

Thanks Alex. I didn't know Crippling caused bleeding too. That skill works wonderfully. Also, the build has little energy problems with a zealous mod.

You should concider swaping out Plauge touch for Riposte

If you buy a set of armor with Raidiant Insignias and a +5 energy sword you should conciderd swaping Signet of Corruption for Drunken Blow as it will deal a random condition and nice dmg with high tactics

If the movement reduction of Flail is causing problems Tiger Stance is nice though it does cost 5e.

I've run a build much like this except I use Parasitic Bond as a Hex to chain off Necrosis and a nice heal with some points in curses.

There are many many combos that work well with Necrosis, it may be the best of all the pve skills

lawl wut? Riposte? Please don't say that. Ripostes are only useful in farming

Drunken/Desperation blow is meant for [skill]Steady Stance[/skill]. Maybe for fun in NM you can run it without a way of stopping the knockdown but otherwise no.

Flail is king in PvE because it's easily maintained (Tiger stance can't be maintained easily) and in a cripslash build, you don't need to worry about them kiting.

You also don't have a speed buff, so you aren't catching them anytime soon either.

Looks like a pretty good build. IF I was gonna take Sunspear Rebirth Sig, I would switch out Plague Touch. What should be subbed out from your point of view?

I must be a very strange tank then, since I almost always find myself being hit by melee mobs. In hard mode I find Riposte very usefull since I have the fun job of pulling and holding agro for the nukers to do what they do best.

Drunken/Desperation blow work best with Steady Stance however they do work on there own without it as the random condition they deal can be more useful than an extra second standing taking a normal swipe.

Since I generaly save my IAS for dealing with bosses, nothing else realy requires the war to deal massive dmg in most partys I'm in, then it lasts long enough and has 0 drawbacks unless they can block and that can be dealt with if you know there is lots of blocking in the map/mission your on.

Strange, I rarely find melee mobs just focusing on me. That is unless I flag the guy around ten miles away so they focus on me but by the time they reach me, I'm just a warrior shaped corpse on the ground. Don't be selfish and bring a skill that helps the whole party like WY

Also taking that extra swipe is at least just as useful since it allows you to power out the big adrenaline attacks more.

Well anyway about IAS, I like being able to kill things with my war. That and I like Eviscerating every few seconds. Yes eles are the main killers in PvE but that doesn't mean a war can't help, especially in HM where fighting two monks is very tedious

blue: Mobs focus on me all the time in hard mode. Simple PS and Life Sheath and I'm good on my own for several seconds.

fujin: I would agree, Plague Touch isn't as helpful as in the Quivering build. Besides those crippling zealots, and Plague Touch wars in Crystal Desert, it's hardly used.

Crom: Sorry, but the four conditions caused by those self-KD skills are better done by other skills. Crip Slash takes half of them, Gash does a third, and weakness is caused by two of my heroes. And if I used Tiger Stance, it would have been an unused skill throughout the desert, as everyone has blocking stances that would make it drop. Flail is easier to keep up.

for your strength build maybe try [skill]Rage of the Ntouka[/skill]. it allows you to spam adrenal skills pretty much constantly. and then add [skill]Sever Artery[/skill]for condition with necrosis.

P.S. Is [skill]Quivering Blade[/skill]even a skill?It looks more like a square turd with gold trim to me.

Don't you have Enraging Charge on there? It will end flail, give you the speed boost to chase down the kiter, and not to mention give you the adrenaline to use an attack skill once you reach the kiter.

Quivering blade is an amazing skill...at only 4 adrenaline and hits for that much? And when it's blocked....big deal that's what plague touch is for.

As for the disabled for 4 secs..odds are it's not the only attack skill. And by the time you get enough adrenaline to use it again it will probably be pretty close to being usable if not already.
